Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 July 2026

Iconic WW2 (iconicww2.com) is a personal, non-commercial historical archive dedicated to the documentation and colorization of Second World War military vehicles. We collect as little personal data as possible — this page explains exactly what happens when you visit.

What we do not do

Newsletter (The Dispatch)

Our newsletter is published on Substack. When you enter your email address in the subscription form, this site does not store it: your browser is sent directly to Substack, which handles the subscription, delivery and unsubscription under its own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like virtually every web server, the hosting infrastructure keeps technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operation. These logs are processed under Hostinger’s privacy policy and are not used by us to identify visitors.

Fonts

All typefaces are self-hosted on our own server: no font requests are sent to Google or any other third party while you browse.

External links

The site links to our profiles on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Substack and Buy Me a Coffee. Once you follow a link to those platforms, their respective privacy policies apply.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port personal data concerning you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since this site itself stores no personal data, most requests will concern the third parties listed above — but we are happy to help you direct them.

Contact

For any question about this policy or your data, reach out through our social channels linked in the footer — Instagram or Substack are the fastest ways to get a reply.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date above.
